Property values tend to be less than Bend but more than Prineville.  Home values are currently similar in value to Redmond real estate for similar properties. 

Irrigation rights are a must for anyone wanting to farm the land.  However, there are limited areas of Powell Butte in which one can find irrigation access.  Acreage without irrigation rights tend to be kept in a natural state which features juniper trees and sage brush.

Most properties have septic systems since the community does not have a sewer system.  Avion water or a private Well are the two options for water.  Not all areas have access to Avion water.  Natural Gas is not available with the exception of Brasada Ranch.

Propane gas service however can be added to any property through installation of a self-contained tank system that can be filled by local gas distributors.
